Topographic Map Viewer


To view and download the PDF maps for free in your browser follow the instructions below. You may also need to install a PDF viewing application such as Adobe Reader or a Mobile viewer to view the downloaded PDF maps on your desktop or Mobile Device.

If using Internet Explorer version 11 please take the following steps to ensure the Topographic Map Viewer works correctly:

  1. In Internet Explorer under settings (accessed from the gear icon at the top right beside the favourites star), choose Compatibility View settings
  2. In the dialog box uncheck Display intranet sites in Compatibility View and uncheck Use Microsoft compatibility lists.

Anyone is allowed to print off one copy of this map for personal use without permission from the Province of British Columbia.

These maps are created on a page size of 44" x 28". If you do not have access to a large format plotter or printer, any quality print shop with a large format printer will be able to print these for you.

Quick Start Instructions

  1. launch the map viewer by clicking "Launch Application"
  2. zoom in to an area of interest
  3. click on a grid square
  4. a pop-up window appears allowing access to view map
  5. using your internet browser’s “save as” or “save page as”, save the PDF map to your computer’s hard drive.
